Update December 5th: A new updated for the TV Guide – Next Aired add-on has come and out and while the changelog is mostly cosmetic fixes, now is the right time to check out this great Kodi program add-on if you aren’t familiar already! For months, I’ve used this add-on to keep track of all of the shows in my library to know exactly when a new episode is airing. For you cordcutters, this is the perfect compliment to your Kodi setup!

With the Next Aired add-on for Kodi, you can have the information for when your next favourite TV show will air a new episode right at your fingertips.
Next Aired is a program plug-in that pulls TV show information for everything you have marked as a favourite from your favourite add-ons (like Genesis or 1channel). Inside of its interface, you can see what new episodes will air for the upcoming week so that you can be reminded of what new TV you have to watch.
How to install Next Aired on Kodi:
- Select SYSTEM
- Select Add-Ons
- Select Get Add-Ons
- Select Kodi Add-On Repository if on XBMC choose XBMC Add-On Repository
- Select Program Add-Ons
- Select TV Show – Next Aired
- Select Install
- Wait for Add-on Enabled notífication
The add-on is now installed and ready to use. You open the add-on from your PROGRAMS menu. The first time you launch the add-on, it scans your library to see what shows you have added and then provides a TV guide to show when the next episode airs.
To add a show to your library, select it from Genesis or your favourite add-on, press “c” or the button to bring up the context menu, and click “Add to Library”.
Depending on what skin you are using, the Next Aired add-on may look slightly different to you when you go into it. In the look below, all of your favourite shows are added to a calendar-style grid format with the times and episode number of each show. In other skins, each day is listed individually and then you can more of a description about the episode that will be airing. Try a few different skins and see what you like!
