  1. I suspect that’s right, plus add Hulu because you know Disney is going to offer a combo deal for both services.

  2. People, analysts included, are **vastly** overestimating how well Disney+ will do. Reminds me of the hype leading up to Windows Phone 7. I don’t think Disney+ will quite go down that path (end of life), but it’s much harder to catch the market leader (Netflix, iPhone) than people think.

Just because it’s Disney (Microsoft) doesn’t mean they automatically sell gangbusters.

  3. Star Wars is already looking a bit on the weak side and the Marvel stuff is probably close to big time audience fatigue. So dunno about the timing of this. Still, if they can become *the* service to have if you have kids they will do alright but that wouldn’t be near enough subscriptions to let them take over the world.

  4. If Disney wants to dominate all they have to do is put every single thing they own on the service available from month 1, people will be blown away at the amount of content

    But will they?

  5. Hahahahahaha…no.

If they get half that in a few years then they will have been wildly successful.

These are the same sort who have been saying Apple is days away from buying Netflix for years. All I trust is that they are trying to short or move stocks based on some nonsense they spout while people pay them to spout it.

  6. Utter arrogance. The Disney brand has a strong unrelatable image from having nothing but Disney Princess remakes associated with it.
